The 10-hectare Granexport plant in Kiwalan, Iligan City was established in 1974.
Known as the biggest copra processing plant in the world, Granex has the capacity to crush 270,000 MT copra/year. Its products include crude coconut oil, copra pellets, cochin (refined bleached oil, RB) and refined bleached and deodorized (RBD) coconut oil.
The plant is equipped with a pier that can accommodate vessels up to 65,000 dead weight tons for loading finished products and unloading copra feed stock.
