Structural Repair on pier, structural member, dimensional and positional repair, off-shore structure repair, we employ concrete jacketing to increase bearing load capacity following a modification of the structural design or to restore structural design integrity due to a failure in the structural member. Another one is called a grout, which is a mixture of water, cement and sand, as in grouting, embedding re-bar in masonry walls, connecting sections of pre-cast concrete, filling voids, and sealing joints.

A taste of our routine work, on a damage pile of the underwater structure we clear it from marine growth and loose concrete before repairing procedures begun. When the damage is caused by structural overloading, ship impact, fire, or corrosion, particularly on a splash zone. We start by determining the formwork typed based on the placement method of repairing material which is very important where shrinkage or bleeding lead to leakage path at the top of parent concrete. When thickness is concern, thermal cracking may develop due to the rise of temperature. It is advisable to maintain the reinforcement as these affected by distortion and considerable corrosion.

The formwork is installed, Portland cement is used as it has the ability to set underwater. The concrete inlet is installed at the bottom because pumping is used for placing repair material and should start at the bottom to push water out of the formwork. The aggregate is place and compacted in the formwork. Then the grout is injected into the base of the aggregate by the grout. We make sure the formwork is grout-proof to prevent it from leaking, also a good venting at the top to permit air to escape. Vibration should not be present during injection or the grout will be wash out. To sufficiently fill the formwork at the top of the damage area is important with aggregate because when the grout is placed and the aggregate is absent, gout will shrink and crack will be present.

The Steel Sleeve Repairing Technique
This is used around a pile or a column, the space between the sleeve and pile are filled with concrete or even mortar. The sleeve is designed that the top and bottom of the damaged length of the pile is exceeded and able to withstand the force of the pile in case of corrosion.
