Loving is everything.

On weekends I go to the beach. While beaches may not come to mind as a preferred destination especially to people have been living in cities for a long time. The Philippines is home to more than 7,000 islands, it has no shortage of beautiful and pristine beaches. There are lots of resorts and places to stay with lots of choices, sometimes you get overwhelmed to where to spend your holidays.

Yet somehow some people would rather spend their time on trips and experiences rather than looking for the best luxurious resort or hotels. Often we see beaches to serve mankind and they don't need our help, and we are wrong. As our planet Earth warms, seawater will expand, ice sheets from coldest areas will melt and then water levels will rise, flooding our beaches. Beaches oftentimes are trapped between rising seas and building structures or roads, leaving them nowhere to go.

Not to spoil the fun, no matter what choices we make on our holiday destination, it is also important that we spend time to learn and do something about our environment - a place where we can both enjoy. After all, vacation or just walking on the beach is treating yourself once in a while for a way to connect with nature.

Dalipuga reef and beach-front has a touch of traditional Filipino style, practical cottages while making use of a natural oasis. The location is along the highway with a fabulous view of the beach. The experience is breathtaking on early morning jog or while watching the sundown.

This is also one of our Corporate Social Responsibility activity is working on. Our country is a tropical nation with beautiful islands, and it relies on healthy coral reefs for food, jobs, revenue from tourism and fisheries, and protection from rising sea levels and intensifying storms. Coral reefs supports all marine fish during various stages of their life cycles and they provides a source of cultural, recreational and economic benefits.

We have witnessed increased in negative state of coral reefs on many areas. Coral reefs experienced catastrophic losses due to abnormally high seawater temperatures associated with global warming. Humans activities also has contributed on these ecosystems problems. Our company and our CSR initiatives, we educate our clients to give back to the seas by taking responsibility for their actions on both the surrounding environment and the local community's social well-being - and that's includes you who will use the beach.

FLED/DiveCenter conducts coral reef research, monitoring, reef or beach clean-ups, coral gardening, and reef restoration. We provide educational seminars, tours on coral reef conservation strategies.

Having said that, we didn't mean people will tip-toes on the beach. It means right now we are now fully aware what Dalipuga reefs and beach-front has for us, as we take full responsibility on all our actions.

As for me, with the kids I go with the good-old digging in the sand. Get the kids to see how deep of a hole they can dig and when they're dug as far as they can, then I will try if I can fit in the hole or see how long it takes to fill it with water. Always remember our responsibility - fill in any holes you dig in the sand when you're done playing for the safety of other people using the beach. There are so much ball games you can try on the beach, fly a kite, running, tug-of-war, and the limits is set on your mind.

The other experience you need to try is snorkeling and diving. Dalipuga reefs didn't grow by itself, it went into lots of trials and has suffered a lot. Here you get to learn how working-together gives it more life. In time you will not only enjoy the coral reefs, you will be sharing memories to others as well. Instead of pots we built a heart-shaped to put the coral to hold on. Because no matter what happens, whenever we felt it with our hearts everything is possible under the sun.

Finally this beach-front is also a pet-friendly and easy access friendly for people with special needs.
